Biomass project
Biomass is one of the most versatile energy sources as it can be used for heat, electricity, transportation fuel, and can be used as liquid fuel. And it can be produced almost anywhere in America. Biomass is made of Living organisms and we have 4930 trillion British thermal units of it. And just last year, biomass was 5% of all energy consumption in the USA, biomass is the best renewable energy source to save our future.
What its about
Biomass being a renewable source, of course it can’t run out. Biomass is made by burning natural resources, like wood, crops, and waste. Using biomass, we can still burn things to make energy, and have unlimited amounts of it. Yes, carbon dioxide is created by burning biomass, but instead, other forms of biomass (specifically plants) can absorb the CO2, which helps them with photosynthesis. If there was a source that can be like fossil fuels, but cleaner, and be unlimited, it’s BIOMASS.
Why biomass is the best
Biomass, a renewable clean energy source, can be made into cleaner burning transportation fuels like ethanol and biodiesel which are better for the environment than gas and traditional diesel. Ethanol, when mixed with gasoline produces E10 which is a cleaner-burning fuel that is used nationwide. Biodiesel is renewable, non toxic, biodegradable and can be blended with petroleum to fuel compression ignition engines.
Biomass being a renewable source is also a WTE(waste to energy) process. Since biomass uses a WTE process that means that it's able to take your trash and use it for renewable energy. Biomass being a WTE process means that it can generate renewable energy and reduce waste that ends up in landfills at the same time.
Conclusion
Biomass is a versatile renewable energy source that can be used for heat, electricity, transportation fuel, and liquid fuel. Biomass can be made into E10 and biodiesel which are transportation fuels that are cleaner burning than traditional gas and diesel. Also, as biomass decays, it is able to produce more energy. Biomass is also very cheap and costs way less compared to lots of other renewable energy sources.
